About the Role
As a key member of the CMS & Workflow Team, you will lead the operational delivery and ongoing development of YPO’s Commercial Management System (CMS) and the procurement workflow / resource planning function.
You’ll guide the direction of the CMS & Workflow Team, ensuring activity aligns with YPO’s wider procurement and commercial strategies, while using your procurement expertise to support compliant, efficient and effective processes across the organisation.
Working closely with colleagues across Procurement, Customer Engagement, Sales and Marketing, Finance and IT, to name a few, you’ll help ensure the system meets customer and business needs, promotes good supplier management, and supports organisational efficiency.
You’ll also lead and develop your team and use data-led insight to support workflow planning across the procurement department.
About You
As YPO continues to expand, we are seeking a driven and enthusiastic individual to join our team. Drawing from the skills and experience section of the Job Description, we seek someone who has:
- Full membership of CIPS (or equivalent) or is working towards it.
- In-depth understanding of public sector purchasing legislation.
- A track record of managing and delivering full end-to-end procurement activity (or managing the delivery of a large / complex project) that delivered successful outcomes.
- Well-developed leadership skills, which foster a positive and motivated organisational culture.
- Knowledge of e-tendering systems
Having experience using Atamis would be ideal.
