About the Role
Are you a detail‑oriented financial enthusiast looking for an exciting opportunity to make a real impact? We're seeking a Credit Controller to join our small and passionate Finance team to cover Maternity Leave.
As a key member of the Finance Team, this role is integral to YPO’s credit control function. You will play a vital part in enhancing the external customer experience by ensuring all credit collection activity is carried out professionally, efficiently, and in line with YPO’s objectives. You will monitor and pursue overdue debts, resolve customer queries, minimise bad debt, and support the wider team by providing cover for core daily tasks. Your work will directly contribute to maintaining strong customer relationships and safeguarding YPO’s financial health.

Drawing from the skills and experience outlined in the Job Description, we are looking for someone who has:
- 5 GCSEs (4–9 / A–C) or equivalent, including Maths and English
- Experience working within a finance or credit control environment
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to handle customer conversations tactfully
- Strong attention to detail, a methodical approach, and the ability to problem‑solve independently
- IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office and financial software systems
Having prior experience in credit control would be ideal, but not essential, we can support you to develop this while in the role.
