About the Role
We are seeking to appoint to the role of Procurement and Supply Assistant (Level 3).
As a member of the Facilities Management Procurement function this role is integral to the function by assisting with the sourcing, administration, and coordination of products and services across both Service and Product areas.
The role will involve maintaining accurate procurement data, supporting supplier communication, managing team inbox activity, and contributing to reporting and compliance processes.
Overview
This apprenticeship provides a strong foundation in procurement and supply, supporting the sourcing and purchasing of low‑value goods and services. Apprentices learn key procurement principles, policies, and procedures, including value for money, sustainability, supplier due diligence, and compliance with organisational requirements.
You’ll gain practical experience in day‑to‑day procurement activity such as raising purchase orders, supporting quotes and tenders, maintaining records, and working with suppliers and internal stakeholders. On completion, apprentices are well‑placed to support procurement teams and progress into further roles or qualifications within procurement and supply.
About You
As YPO continues to expand, we are looking for a positive-minded individual to join our team. Drawing from the skills and experience section of the Job Description, we seek someone who has:
- GCSEs (or equivalent) including English Language and Mathematics (Grade 4 or above)
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately
- Basic written and verbal communication skills
