About the Role
We are seeking to appoint to the role of Procurement and Supply Chain Practitioner (Level 4).
As a member of the Support Solutions and Growth Team, this role is integral to YPO’s Procurement function.
The role will support the team providing business and administrative support across a range of procurement and administrative activities, helping to ensure the efficient coordination, tracking and delivery of procurement services.
The role will involve supporting tendering processes, maintaining accurate systems and records, assisting with data reporting and pipeline tracking, and coordinating communication between internal teams, customers and suppliers.
Overview
The Procurement and Supply Chain Practitioner Level 4 Apprenticeship will give you the skills to support purchasing and supply chain activities, including working with suppliers, and contributing to tendering and contract processes. You’ll gain practical, on-the-job experience while building an understanding of how procurement supports wider business operations.
You’ll develop key skills in negotiation, stakeholder communication, and cost management, learning how to analyse data and support value-for-money decisions. This apprenticeship combines hands-on experience with structured learning.
About you
As YPO continues to expand, we are looking for a positive-minded individual to join our team. Drawing from the skills and experience section of the Job Description, we seek someone who has:
- 4 GCSE or equivalent Grades A*-D (Grade 4 and above) in Mathematics, English Language and 2 other subjects
- A level 3 qualification, such as A levels or an equivalent BTEC.
- Awareness of procurement, supply chain or business administration principles
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Applicants must demonstrate the ability to study at academic Level 4, equivalent to the first year of a university degree.
